Working Princess Problems

Hello my little Sparklies,

I decided to knock out a post before I go into work today! I was feeling quite inspired to blog about my daily go-to's that I reach for when I am scheduled to work. As per usual, we're advised not to wear make up that is too copious or distracting/offensive so how do I deal with that? By taking the 'No Make-up Make-up' look and putting my own spin on it. I'll take you through it!

After washing my face and brushing my teeth I usually reach for my eye make up to start with. I don't always war eyeliner but when I do I am usually using either Revlon's ColorStay liquid eyeliner or Maybelline's Master Drama crayon eyeliner. If I use liquid eyeliner I usually line my top lid and if I'm feeling like it I will wing it out. When I use the crayon liner I just line my waterline for definition. Once lining my eyes is done I move on to mascara. Because I don't work at some fancy, high-end place I don't go full throttle with my lashes (though believe me I am all for dramatic eyes). I'm finally growing on my choice for work mascara, which is Cover Girl's LashBlast Volume (in the orange tube) after one or two coats I feel that my lashes look defined without being too much for my work place.

Once my eyes are all handled I move onto lips. Now this is where I like to have fun. I have worn various mixes between deep violet to ruby red to work and every shade in between. Out of all the shades I experiment with at work however, I always come back to two products. Maybelline's Baby Lips in Pink Shock and NYX Butter Gloss in Strawberry Parfait, I wear these together for a fun, but noticeably more tame look.

For perfume I don't use anything to fancy, I just spritz on some Victoria Secret body spray and call it a day.

As you can see my routine isn't super extensive, but it is tried and true and I wanted to share it with you all.

Here's Hoping You'll #StaySparkly
