So I undoubtedly had way more fun than I thought I would at orientation!!! I actually made friends! and not like one or two, I made 5, and we've formed a clique! Now, I'm not some anti-social child lost to the world of friendship by any means necessary, but I am quite introverted and I don't just immediately stick myself out there. I met tons of people at orientation, and played "Team building activities and games." After everything I thought would happen at orientation, I was pleasantly surprised...and...wrong. I hate being wrong but I'll accept it in this case. At orientation I even met someone I'm kind of interested in, and he's DEFF interested in me. But before I commit myself to that, I must see what else the school has to offer. You know, options open and whatnot. I won a bandana, and got cute shades, a nice drawstring bag, and the most delightful basketball coozie. Can you say love! And speaking of love, the campus itself is beyond beautiful! And they have a Starbucks! mmm, starbz. My classes will prove interesting, in terms of levels of difficulty, they probably wont be interesting. But they're all timed delightfully! I have two classes on Friday, so by 11:00 AM I'm done! Anyway, the dorms are nice...and cracker box-ish. I'm not sure how I'm supposed to fit a TV in there...or food. But you know, I'll just work it out or something. So anyway, this was my super watered down first impression of my brand new school, hopefully I continue to love it!
Here's hoping you'll #StaySparkly

Late Night Repercussions May Be The Worst
Okayyyyyyy. So I'm feeling bad. "How bad?" Gawful. "Why?' College Orientation. "Was it bad?" Oh no, much to the contrary. I HAD FUN. Too much fun.
You see everyone, I am nobody's night owl. I enjoy falling asleep around 11;30 and waking up at 8;00. NOT staying up in a friends dorm with your newly-fangled breakfast bunch. (I will soon blog about my time in orientation) until 3:45 in the morning and waking up at 7:10 to get ready for the next day's events. As I sit here on my moms bed (so what) and type this, I imagine this is what a hangover would feel like. It's like I've been hit wit a train. I'm hungry but my stomach isn't too happy, and im light headed and omega-mega exhausted. Not to mention I have to be at my old school by EIGHT AM tomorrow! dhfui;jabfeuibc, things that cant catch a break, me. So basically, this blog is an apology for not blogging yesterday, and for not doing today's planned blog. I'd like to say that Thursday blogs will be called : Things that make me mad Thursday's. and Friday blogs will be called: Fancy Friday. Also on Friday's I would like to do my O.M.G (Oh My Glitter) Moment of the week and song of the day. This is all in future reference and will continue as scheduled next week.
So! I think I've suffered enough, but one last thing, all my readers thanks for reading! It means something that you guys mythically find my blogs and read them! So without further ado,
Here's hoping you'll #StaySparkly

It might be Wednesday
So my little lovelies, it's hump day! Happy hump day. And speaking of hump, I have college affairs to attend! And when I say affairs, I mean orientation. Mmm yeah, fun right ? Well that's what I'm hoping. I dragged myself off my couch after watching all my favorite tv shows and finally packed my duffle bag with everything I would supposedly need. Emphasis on supposedly, everyone knows what it's like to go somewhere and not need something you packed, or need something you didn't. So I, the whimsical creature I am, packed the absolute basics. A blanket (my favorite blanket at that , I'm a risk taker), a brush (mandatory..in my book), toiletries (what a cute word), and two outfits, bringing my sum of clothes up to 3 outfits, though ill only be there for two days. Either way I'm expecting it to be one interestingly boring time! We shall see though.
Now I quickly want to cover two things: Songs of the Day! I wanted to do this on Monday but I forgot so today ill be doing 2 songs !
-First Song: All This And Heaven Too- Florence + The Machine. This song is so beatifully drastic and it's one of my faves. It has a sound I'd relate to dark chocolate pretzels. Is that weird?
-Second Song: Young and Beautiful- Lana Del Ray. If you haven't heard this song, I'm going to need you to either claim residency in a different country, the less technological the better, or climb from beneath your rock. This song is all the sassy frassy Lana that is adored by so many, but had a melancholy tune to it. It's amaze-glaze and I cannot stop singing it!
So that's all I have to say on this hump day.
Here's hoping you'll #StaySparkly

TV With Me!
So today is Tuesday and today's blog will be a bit short because I'm on a time crunch. Why am I on a time crunch? Because I have thirty minutes until Pretty Little Liars! But...why does that matter? Well it wouldn't, if it weren't TV Show Tuesday! On Tuesdays I'm going to discuss shows I've seen recently that have been beyond amaze-glaze!
So, the summertime is when t shows get good! Or maybe that's my sole opinion because summer means summer break, therefore I can watch whatever I want whenever I want. Anyway, Here are a few shows I've really been loving recently:
1. Pretty Little Liars-
Now Pretty Little Liars is very well known and if you have seen it you know why I'm oh so addicted to it! The girls are pretty, their secrets dirty, their relationships scandalous...it's primetime crack!
2. Dance Moms- For one I dance myself, so watching dance from anywhere of 1-2 hours is highly enjoyable. Plus there is drama, and plenty of pickings for you to choose your favorite! Yes favorites exist, don't flex like you've never had a favorite. Even Abby's awful attitude is somewhat addicting.
3. Pretty Wicked Moms (Mommy complex much?)- Now THIS is a show some of you wont take to. It's about a bunch of wealthy (or in Meredith's case, just apparent) "moms" living their lives in front of the camera. Being fake, talking $$$mack and dropping bank (except for Meredith) is not foreign or a very hard task for these "mothers". I keep quoting any reference to a maternal being because...some of them aren't so mommy. Dog bites, tantrums, and blonde moments are just a few of the reasons why I tune in.
4. Motive- I heard about this show during the finale of Dancing With The Stars (Disclaimer, remember my previous statement about dance? That doesn't apply to DWTS) Its surprisingly good. While on the outside it appears to be another run of the mill CSI show it isn't. It looks more into why rather than who. Its stimulating and its like playing detective! Except you already know the answer. Which is cheating. But everyone loves cheating right!?
5. The Inbetweeners- Now The Inbetweeners is another show that might rub you the wrong way depending on what your place in the social circle was in high school. If you were popular, well-liked, and rather hot, you may feel like this show is a waste of your time. If you were a awkward and didn't have as many friends, you may relate to this show, which may lead you to resent the show. If you're like me and you just like the crap MTV poops out on air, then you'll like this show just fine. It's about a clique of misfits, branded the name "The Inbetweeners" though I think the names the "in-your-lockers", "with-the-counselors" or even, "kids who are constantly f*cking up with girls and embarrassing themselves" suits them much better.
6. Mystery Diner- This show is good for a quick 30minute kill. Being nothing more than a show meant to expose diners doing it wrong, its funny and exploitative to all those on the grounds. I highly suggest watching when you're bored.
But now PLL is on! G2G,
Here's hoping you'll #StaySparkly !

Movie Madness Monday!!
Okay soooo! Like I said in my last blog, I'm going to do weekday themed blog posts, so with that being said, today is Movie Madness Monday! I like to think of myself as a true lover of all things modernly cinematic. Movies for hours? Yes. Popcorn with cholesterol on cholesterol on cholesterol? Double yes. Large soda that makes you have to pee really really badly? Umm, you've got a date with your glittery highness yourself! In these blogs I will discuss movies I've seen that I love, movies I've seen that I don't love (loathe), and movies I want to see!
#1 Movie I Love
1. Batman: The Dark Knight Rises. Ummmm can you say cinematic genius? This is gonna sound so wrong but personally I really liked the way Batman got the crap beaten out of him, like it showed him he wasn't, in fact, indestructible. But then, when he turned around showed Bane who the boss was! Whoo! It was that much more amazing. And you wanna talk about plot twists! Ugh all the batman movies are superb!
#2 Movie I didn't love
1. Albino Farm: I recently saw this movie with some friends of mine at a sleepover (hosted by yours truly!). It was Gawful! Gawful= Gawd Awful. Besides the antagonists being not scary but really freaks of nature produced by generational strings of incest, the plot was poop as well. In fact, it might be worse than The Human Centipede.! I suggest watching it if you like to watch movies and say "Wtf" "Why would you do that" and "I don't understand" for the entire duration of the film. Yeah it was truly...worthy of being toilet paper. If even.
#3 Movie I want to see
1. The Purge: I know it came out already but I still want to see it like crazy! I heard mixed reviews about it but it seems quite up my alley! Not to mention who doesn't want to fantasize about what you'd do if you had 12 hours to commit any crime(shopping spree much? I mean come on!) Anyway, that's what I want to see!
So this was my test run of MMM , Movie Madness Monday, but I like it and it will make a return next Monday!

Very First Blog. Clearing the air and previewing
Today is the first day of my relationship with blogging! And quite frankly, its the only relationship I have going for me right now. The love of my life and I split on mothers day. Mmm, yes. I said it. Mothers Day. Oh I know, he's a jerk, but I love him. It's even worse because he was my high school sweetheart. The first love ive ever been in that was reciprocated. I could go on about him, OR talk about life PM (post-muffin). Well, like any girl who's aware of herself to the point that I am aware of myself would do, I rebounded...hard. I knew there was no way I could just let the days pass and try to get over him so I looked for a distraction. any distraction. So I found about...4? 5? different distractions. And surprisingly, it worked like a charm. I realized as I looked around my classrooms...I could've talked to so many more guys had I not been with him ALL semester. Out of the 5 I picked my fave 3 and paid attention to them, or as much attention a girl with 3 boys can give. So speed up a little and here I am, graduated from high school, and fighting the "I can get over you" battle. But that's a little hard when....you've "miraculously" managed to plant yourself back into his life. So im still talking to him...and i've dropped a fave 3, but ive really started to focus on one of the 3. I'm going to put myself in a jam, and i'm not trying to avoid that, so hand me the bread!
Now that I've gotten that off my chest, id like to announce that my blog will be dedicated to all things my life related until I start college! songs of the day, Weekday themed topics and O.M.G (Oh My Glitter) moments of the week!! Blog Shouts to my friend Katelyn for the idea!
Here's hoping you'll #StaySparkly
